Plant Power: Teaching Renewable/Non-Renewable

This initiative will educate third-grade students about renewable and nonrenewable energy in an engaging and interactive way. Through the story Planet Power, students explored the importance of energy conservation and sustainability. This literary approach sparked their curiosity while introducing key concepts in an accessible format. To reinforce their understanding, a memory game of concentration was incorporated, challenging students to identify and match different types of energy. This hands-on activity made learning fun while fostering critical thinking and awareness of energy sources, contributing to their overall development and environmental consciousness.
